I have a 210 gal reef set up with a 65 gal sump. Co2 reactor, ro filter with auto top off, Red Sea hang on skimmer on sump.
I'd like to up grade the skimmer without changing the size of my sump.
I was told the best skimmers are set inside the sump as compared to hang on.
What are your thoughts on this and would there be a significant difference in coral appearance, water quality.?
My existing skimmer is my original And is probably an entry level.
