Hi! I have been using vodka to decrease my nitrate levels. I usually use .2 ml for my 75 gallon aquarium... I have a split lid so I normally take the lid off one side and leave the lid on the other side. However, this time I had the bottle sitting on the lid of my aquarium and the bottle accidently tipped over and about 1/4 a cup that was in the bottle spilled in my tank. Obviously my fish died, but I still have a couple of snails and hermit crabs that I would like to keep alive. Does anyone have any suggestions? I just did a 1/2 water change so I am hoping to keep them alive. Is there anything else I can do? Do I need to empty my whole tank and start over? Or wait a couple of weeks before I get more fish? I just feel horrible and dont want the things that are alive to die and dont want to add new fish too early...
