Hello All,
I am thinking of adding a green star polyp as my very first coral.
Water parameters are good. (I can post if necessary/I check 2x daily)
92 gallon corner tank.
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Red Flame Angel
Yellow Chromis
3 blue/green reef chromis
And... a sleeper banded goby who sifts sand. He does get some on the lower rock every day. And some gets on the uppers. I regularly blow them off with a baster.
What I would really like to do is put the GSP on a small rock right in the front, middle of the sandbed (picture of my layout attached.)
What does everybody think of a green star polyp being added somewhere? If sand gets on while I am at work or sleeping will a few hours harm the coral? I will always clean it when I am home and see it. I know some corals are more sensitive than other. But the banded goby is listed as reef safe. I just dont want to buy a coral and then put it in danger.
Should I wait until the goby is no more...?
Thanks
