I have a 220 gallon tank with a 75 gallon sump (half full). I need some advice on keeping algae down and what kind of fish I can put into it. I have a humu humu, 3 large hermit crabs (about the size of a plum). I know your not supposed to put them together but since they were the size of my humu humu they (fish store) said it would be fine. Im wanting to slowly put more fish into my 220 gallon tank. I'm relatively new to the saltwater hobby about 6-8 months now. I would like to know how to keep brown algae down on my live rock. Also I have fish that I would like to get and want some people that have actually had these fish together to give some feedback!
Radiata lion fish
snowflake eel
powder blue tang
yellow tang
sailfin tang
longnose butterfly
copperband butterfly
porcupine puffer
big eye black bar soldierfish
I know tangs especially powder blue tangs can be aggressive toward each other but I was hopping since my tank is bigger than the average one I thought I might be able to pull it off.
Let me know thanks!
