Hi All!
I'm new to the hobby and am having my first experience with cyano bacteria as shown in attached picture. It is mostly on the uppermost rock and the sand below but has begun to appear on the other rocks as well.
Bottom Line: How do I get rid of it??? My water readings seem normal (Phosphates at .25 and Nitrates at 0). The temperature has been around 82 degrees.
As for water flow, you can see from the picture that I have a powerhead aimed from backleft to back right. I have the stock water pump perpendicular to that and aimed slightly upward.
