Coco Worm in bare bottom tank

I'm wanting to get a coco worm..never had one, though I've had feather dusters in the past.
According to Live Aquaria, they can be placed in rock crevases and sand.

Well we don't have sand, but we do have rocks, obviously.

So is anyone successfully keeping coco worms in a bare bottom tank?
