Cleaning Sump

Hello,

I have not cleaned the live rock in my sump for a few months, so I would like to know if I do clean it (nothing growing on it that is important), can I bleach the rock and for how long? Also, how long before I put it back in the sump after bleaching then soaking in declor tap water?
