Anyone us seachem marine buffer?

So wondering everyone's thoughts on sea chem marine buffer. It's a ph a buffer that says it can raise your ph to 8.3 and also said it wouldn't raise the ph over 8.3 even if you overdose..

My ph is my 32 biocube is always 7.8 in hoping to raise it to 8.3 with this product..i can't seem to get my ph over 8.0 no matter how much water I change..

Is this product safe or should I stay away from it??
