Devil's Hand Leather has white spots

Hey Guys,

My tank is a little over 6 months old. Salinity is typically between 1.023 - 25. Two weeks ago, after seeing some major coraline growth, I decided to begin the adventures of corals. Parameters seem within range: 480 calcium, 80-82pH, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, nitrate is typically 15-20 (working on keeping that lower). No phosphates that I could detect.

Acclimation was drip method over the course of 1.5 hours - I only recently learned of the "iodine dip"(?) and thus did not perform this.

When I purchased the leather, it was smooth and brown. Day 1 in my tank the center turned a pale green. Day 2 it shed. Day 3 and 4 it has developed these spots.

I also added a Xenia and a Galaxea (which both appear as when they were purchased) and some sort of colony polyp. (i've got the official names somewhere around here)

Now, somethings amiss in the tank. I just had to pull out an astrea snail that's probably been dead for at least one day - for some reason the crabs did not clean this one up. I'm actually pretty positive these events are unrelated because I also had a decent water change recently too.

Second question is mainly regarding the brown to green color change as it's happening with some of the colony polyp as well. Lighting is fairly similar to what they were under when purchased. However it did change from T5 to LED (Fluval SEA Pro LED's) - which I was led to believe would work for corals.
