new to the salt water life :)

hi guys I am a new go'er at this but very excited any tips hints would be awesome :) lke how often to do water changes and chemicals I need I am doing a nano reef right now to start 10 gallon tank I have a USA Orbit Marine Aquarium LED Light on its way.. I have my water and live sand a 50 watt heater on 76 degrees and a filter system in my tank going on 3 days on my cycle I have white tiny dots all over my glass sides and back.. also my salinity is 1.025
