Making the switch to saltwater (finally).
Now before you tell me that bigger is better in saltwater, or fishkeeping in general, I know.
Here is my intent:
Soft corals (some recommendations here are absolutely more than welcome)
Maybe some shrimp (again, recommendations more than welcome)
And really some pretty low budget-ish gear.
I plan to get a canister filter as opposed to a HOB (Hopefully the right choice).
MAIN QUESTION:
There are so many lights and things to take into account! There is a WPG rule, but I feel like with something as shallow as a 20g long a powerful light for simple soft corals would in a way be overkill.
This tank is not set up, it's just me trying to get one going with a brand new 20g long sitting empty (I planned on some geckos and decided against more reptiles).
