Bristleworm ID

I found this worm in my tank last night and took it out fast. I've heard/read conflicting stories about bristleworms, so I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry since it seems like what can go wrong does go wrong. The only pictures I saw on the internet were of beautiful red and white worms - - not this one. LOL.

I'd like to be sure of the type so that if I see another one, I'll know to catch it or leave it.
