Hello, I just bought a 120 used with all the fixins and kitchen sink.
Ive been looking to get a tank for a while, as such i have done much research.
However, it seems like as time goes on there is more "solutions" to keeping a nice reef tank.
So, what would you TRT go with in a brand new setup if you could. Reactors, barebottom, T5 lights, name it all.
Im going to go with
Barebottom (epoxy), might go with sand because i have young kids and want to show off more inverts / sand guys.
Carbon reactor as needed
Kalk reactor (suppliment 2 part when if required in future)
Some t5 for fill with led added middle of fixture.
Maybe add algea scrubber to remove n/p if it is high.
Please give me your thoughts, I want as low maintenance or periodic weekly as possible. (work out of town)
