Unidentified Aquatic Object.
Don't have a photo - mine isn't good enough and I'm waiting for this thing to resurface. I saw it once before and I thought it was like a few pieces of string. Just saw it today before it seems to have slithered under a rock. Looks like five white threads connected in the center. The entire animal is like 1-2 inches in diameter at this point, maybe a tad longer. It doesn't have hairy type arms/branches. Probably harmless. First time I saw it the arms were up in the water, looking like white hair algae until they went away next time I looked. Pretty cool and have no idea what it is.
