I cant stand looking at my tank.

I had a bad crash several months ago. I had an "alk-cident" caused by me messing with the dosing timer; it never shut off. Then my SPS bleached and the vast majority of my LPS died of brown Jelly. I then decided on a re-boot. I replaced the sandbed, cleaned the rock and performed a 80% water change. Then I replaced my sump, adding another 25 gallons to my system. Thinking all was well, I bought 2 large montipora colonies, a german blue digitata and a green spongodes. The digitata was dead in 2 days. The spongoid is brown and beginning to bleach.

if there were something wrong with my water, I would have expected an invert die-off. But everything is fine, including the BTA's, inverts, coco worm and all the shrimpies.

Here's me:
105 gallon rimless
55 sump
Maxspect razor lighting
Reef Octpus NWB 200 (I think, but it is stinking huge)
Dual reactor (carbon/gfo)
Dosing pumps currently off-line
2 jeabo 25's and 1 forty

alk 8
ca 420
magnesium? no idea
nitrate:very low according to API kit
phosphate: no algea so I assume it is fine.

All alive: fish, inverts, nems (both bta and rock flower), leathers and zoas.
Dead: most coral

The most heartbreaking part is that the vast majority of my coral was 2-5 years old and well established, and anything that lasted the first 2 years with me must have been downright hardy.

I'd break it down, but i got into the hobby when I had a good corporate job and could afford to stock the tank. now I have downsized by life If I tear it down I'll never get it back up again. I would miss it. But now I hate it. I do well in dumping the skimmer, hand dosing and top-offs, or any other quick chore I can do in the garage sump room. I feed the fish but I dont even look at the tank then, its kinda a toss and run.

it's a rant, yet also a cry for help. I dont want to tear it down.
