Has anyone had experience with the cheaper powerheads offered on Amazon or Ebay? I see some very cheap ones with high GPH and a 3.8-4 star rating. The bottom 7% of the ratings state these are crap, but 3/4 of the people who rated them seem to like them. I'm looking for a high flow (1,000GPH+) powerhead with a magnetic clamp base.
The brands I see often are:
SunSun, Sicce, Super VP, Jebao, Yescom.
Mostly it looks like the SunSun ones come with a magnetic base for $25-40, but I think they may be over-rated on GPH by a few thousand units lol...
The one I'm looking at is $25 "SunSun JVP-201B 1585 GPH Dual Aquarium Circulation Pump Wavemaker Powerhead w/ Magnet Clamp Base". Seems legit right?
