New tank without fish, etc high in Ammonia

We are setting up a new 20 gal saltwater tank to move two monster hermit crabs into since they are destroying everything in site in our 75 gallon reef tank. We started it up with RO/DI water, crushed coral substrate, filter, and heater. I used the Instant Ocean Sea Salt (I use Red Sea Reef salt for the 75 gallon). We did use starter bacteria so fish can be added instantly (API quick start) plus we used some water and substrate from the 75 gallon tank.

Before putting any life in the tank, the ammonia level was 0.25 ppm. We checked just the RO/DI water and that was zero. It is zero in the 75 gallon tank. I made a glass of slat water with the Instant Ocean sea salt and sure enough the ammonia levels were close to 0.25 ppm.

What should we do here?? Just wait it out for the bacteria to get established or purchase something to add? How long about until we can get our Godzilla hermit crabs out of the Reef Tank???
