Treating yellow tang

So my tang has a bacterial infection. I'd been dealing with cyano bacteria outbreak. I've finally have under control after several doses of chemiclean. Unfornately my yellow tang ended up with and infection. I have kanaplex that I tried soaking the food in for treatment because I have some corals in the tank as well but it was to no avail. So I'm about to set up a HT. The thing is catching the tang. I'm starting to think it may be easier to just remove the few corals I have putting them in the HT and just treating my DT. Will this effect my inverts? Nassarus snails and fire shrimp. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
