Call me a saltwater newbie

I grew up with freshwater tanks (mostly 10 gallon) and had a 30 gallon brackish tank in college. When my wife and I were married, there wasn't room in the very small apartment for a tank, and after time, we gave my tanks to my brother-in-law.
Fast forward 25 years...I "inherited" a 150 gallon saltwater tank for free (from my brother-in-law)! It came with a wet/dry pump, protein skimmer, overflow box, sump and recirculating pump. I initially was going to set the tank up as a freshwater system, but after a trip to the LFS, I've decided to go saltwater and put the tank in my office (35 minutes away).
My bachelor neighbor has been a good help, as he had a 65 gallon show tank at one time. Other than that, I'm learning from forums like this and YouTube videos.
I'll post "a cry for help" on the other forum. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to getting back into fish!
