I discovered through casual conversation that one of my friends at work bought a house with a fully set up fresh water tank and him and his wife hate it. I tendered an offer on buying the tank which is obviously larger than my 29 gallon but I can't tell how much larger.
So here is my couple questions...what size does that even look like? How exactly does switching tanks work? Can I just put in premixed saltwater and transfer everything or does the new tank need to go through its own cycle? In theory I'll be using my old tank as a sump and transferring everything directly over. I'll need more rock but my powerhead and lighting should be sufficient.
