So I have been preparing my 40 gallon breeder and doing as much research as possible before diving in. My tank is all set up along with my refugium. Now is the hard part the cycle process. A couple of questions and any advice is welcome.
1.) Should I wait to introduce my refugium until after the cycle? I plan on adding a 3 inch sand bed, live rock, and some microalage.
2.) Should I be running my media reactor that will be holstering carbon and gfo during the cycle?
3.) Should I run my protein skimmer or wait until after the cycle?
