Help identifying snail

Hi all requesting some identification help. This guy came along as a bonus from some sand... I can't figure out what he is and am asking for help.

Also if you know what he is should I keep him? He typically buries in the sand and only comes out when I feed to get pieces off the bottom.

VERY seldom does he venture up the glass.
