I have recently noticed that my male clown gets into my toadstool leather at night, after it had "closed" and looks like he's rubbing himself on the leather. Last night I watched him doing this for over an hour, and I went to bed with him still in there. The female hangs around the mushroom a lot while he's in there, but not all the time. So far, the toadstool seem fine and opens up beautifully in the mornings. Anyone know what's going on, and do I need to be concerned about this behavior? They don't bother the toadstool during the day, unless, of course, there is food in there.
