I have a 29 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank, also a 44. I would prefer using the 29 gallon tank, and can use the 10 gallon as a sump/refugium. I'm trying to figure out if I should create my own system or get a biocube set up. If I create my own system what kind of pump, wave maker, skimmer, heater, light would you guys recommend using. I'm going to do sand and dry rock, and watch it turn into live rock over months before getting fish. Planning on doing coral probably mostly soft what do you guys recommend for a light as well?
