Hello All:
I haven't posted for a while. I lost a bunch of fish due to house sitters not cooling the house off while I was away. That took the wind out of my sails and I just concentrated on my 2 oc clowns and 3 chromis that were left.
My wife talked me into getting some more yesterday.
So first:
94 gallon, corner bow
25 gallong wet/dry sump
venturi skimmer
UV sterilizer
1-2" sandbed
about 40lb LR
The aforementioned fish
Nitrate: 10-15
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: 0
pH: 8.2
Sal: 1.0235
I bought two cleaner shrimp and a diamond watchman goby (I had a DW goby before and he jumped out - I have learned that lesson).
The shrimp are doing well right now... eating and exploring.
The Goby definitely has sifted around the tank. We watched it last night. It made a burrow under a rock. I haven't seen it since about 9:30 pm last night. Could it be hiding? Or do you think it is dead? How long should I wait until I start moving rocks around looking for it?
This is the reason I should have left well enough alone... taken care of that livestock that was left... and then given the tank away when they died.
