Ok so pretty simply question. To quarantine or not. I’ve heard some say they do, others said they don’t.... like a lot of stuff online there’s mixed information and probably a lot of misinformation. I thought about asking the lfs but always afraid there just in it for a sale. I’ve come to trust the people on trt so I’ll ask you guys opinion to qt or not to qt. And is there a point in qt on a new tank say with the first fish? I’m still at least a month out from adding anything to the tank but if I am advised to qt I would like to get the qt tank setup and cycling.

10 gal tank, impulse buy at petco $1 gal sale wishing I would of gone 20gal but hopeful the 10 gal will work.
The bio filter that came with my 55gal tank with some sort of filtering agent. I’m sure it’s way to big but should work anyways
Inexpensive powerhead if the filter isn’t enough water movement
Live rock eventually after the rock in the tank starts coming alive until then I’m hoping the filter will do
Thinking bare bottom for easy cleaning
Some heater I find at the lfs since it will be in my shop... it’s has heat and ac but it’s not enough for that shop if the door is opened to much
