Anybody from eastern Nebraska on here? I noticed we don't have a specific section or club on this forum. Are there any in the state? Should we ask the administration to start us a section for Nebraska?

Out with the old, in with the new
Sadly, I had to sell my 120 gal reef when I moved and my new place just hasn't been as homey with no fishes.
It was an old tank. The cabinet was worn, the finish coming off. Lots of spills absorbed into the wood, salt creep taking its toll. The display tank had some deep scratches and the coralline was heavy in the corners. The dual 250 watt halides pumped out enough heat to warm the room and the skimmer constantly gurgled.
It was as if the whole thing was alive, not just the residents of the display. It really had its own personality. So sad I was to see it go, yet, an opportunity arose.
I will soon be purchasing a 28 biocube. Equipped with dual pumps, a wave maker and enough LEDs to grow whatever I see fit, it will be an upgrade in equipment. Easy to clean glass, a bare bottom that is shallow enough to reach with my hands and maintenance will be easier than ever. No step stool needed.
I will also be able to afford the more expensive corals, as I have much less space to fill, and more PAR to play with.
This will go a long way in making my house a home.

bubble tip anemone moving at night
Hello everyone,
I bought a bubble tip about a week and a half ago. He was very healthy and still is in my tank. But the issue I have is that it keeps moving at night when the tank is darkest to the back of the tank. I recently found out that if I turn the light on in my living room that is right above the tank, the nem stays in his spot. It obviously tells me he needs more light in general. I feed him often so it's not that. But do you think a good solution would be to add an hour or 2 onto my daylight light schedule. Or do I have to keep this fricken living room light on all night every night... or could it be another problem all together

Rimless 100gal.
Okay, first off its good to be here nothing like a good internet forum.
I currently have a 100gal tank that has no rim, i hae come across hundreds of topics online like this but never for anything so big.
I have been told that the to rim offers some sort of structual vale to the tank. I say bull! I have taken a rim off and its nothing more then plastic glued to the glass to cover up a jagged uneven edge. The rim isnt even one piece. The real support comes from the 16 inch wide glass brace in the middle top of the tank. This glass is what keep the tank from bowing/ flexing when full.
I understand that true rimless tanks are made with thicker glass and are obviously designed to be rimless. But with a tank such as this, if the rim is of no structual value. Why is is "a bad idea" to fill the tank up without it?
I have leveled the glass and sanded it down smooth,it looks really good. Id post pictures but the forum wont let me

Aqua Illuminatiion Hydra twenty six
Hey everyone I am still in the process of my first build and I was just about to order my next shipment which was going to be rocks when I noticed that the Aqua illumination hydra twenty six's were 20% off originally I was going to get my lights last and they were going to be Ever Grow led's because of the great price. I been very interested in the savings of the hydras and it has also opened up a small opportunity to have different light options only if I decided to get them before the sell ended. Basically I am just wondering if there are any of you that had or currently have aqua illumination products? If you dont please help me decide as time is of the essence :D Thanks
