Acoel Flatworm Infestation

I've had a recent infestation of flatworms all over my tank. So far I've been lucky not to have them on any coral they've mostly just been on the rocks and on the sand bed. I've read that certain nudibranches eat them but the blue neons are hard to find down here and I'm not sure they would be able to eat all of them. I've heard FW eXit is not reef safe and I don't want to put any chemicals in there since my corals are really starting to flourish.

Can anyone help with some suggestions on how to get rid of these? I've put some pictures below to show the infestation:

My sense of warped Humor

Hey gang -

I just wanted to say that if in any way my warped humor has offended anyone I truly meant no harm. I know how the written word can come off wrong. If my wise crack posts are distracting or counter productive just say so.

I always say that if my students don't banter with me they don't like me...maybe I banter too much :(

I'm sorry to anyone my humor may have offended

My new 75g setup

Hi. I'm just about ready to set up my 75g that's been sitting in my living room for a long time. I just wanted some help and a second opinion on stocking, decor, ect.

Here's what my and my fish guy went over:

Live rock - 10lbs
Dry rock - 50lbs
Live sand - 60lbs

I'm using mostly dry rock because it's a lot cheaper.

I'm also buying mixed water from the fish guy. I don't have an RO system. So figure about 50-60 gallons of water.

For stocking, I picked the main fish I wanted and then we tried to pick tank mates that would work. I'm open for suggestions if my current stocking is bad.

3 chalk bass (the fish I want the most)

2 ocellaris clowns (might switch for 3 green chromis)

1 diamond goby (was recommended to me. I really don't like the look of this one, though.)
2 skunk shrimp

I also saw some engineer gobies, but I think they'd get way too big for my tank. They seem to like groups too. I wanted a scooter blenny, but was advised against it. I plan on getting a starfish sometime in the future after tank is established.

As of right now, it's a FOWLR tank. I don't feel confident enough to have any corals yet. So any comments or suggestions would be helpful.

Also....tanks can support the weight of all the stuff, right? I'm kinda slightly freaking out that it's all gonna crash into the floor. I know the tank holds water and it used to be a platy grow out tank. I'm still nervous though >_<</div>

Was there an update to the site this morning?

Hey gang...is it just me or does anyone else notice you can't load images either in a thread or gallery all of a sudden? The uploads fail :(

Fast evaporation or problem?

I have a 125g reef w a40g sump/ref. Drilled system. I don't know what's happening lately the float on one corner of the overflow can't have the lid on anymore without water getting to high. At the same time in my return well my ato seems to run way too much water is " disappearing" fast every day. Skimmer likes to overflow at night as well. Lots of issues I know so any info would for sure help. Thanks

A snowfull Sunday

Top of the morning TRT friends, and....HAPPY SUNDAY! Cold, and white outside. Looks like we probably have enough on the ground, that I need to pour a bit more coffee into my mental process before I can decide if I'm digging the car out for church or not. But dippy eggs and bacon was requested last night for breakfast, so that will be the first order of business...plus lots of coffee and pink milk. Hope all made out safe and well with the storm. Will get official measurements latter. All the best to all,
Hack

Do Nassarius Snails Need An ESTABLISHED Sand Bed??

Hi all,
Ive kept nassarius snails before but th sand bed was a few months old. My new tank however, has a sandbed that is a month old at most?? If I ensure food reaches the sandbed, will they still be fine?

Thanks in advance
