just wondering who keeps a tank less than 5gal? I was thinking about starting one and want to know what equipment to use and how the tank is set up. I already have 2 20gal tanks. it would b a coral only tank. no fish. thanks!

Protein Skimmer

I have a 40 gallon breeder tank with no fish except a cleaner shrimp and a small brain coral that came in on my live rock. I will add clown fish in about a month. I am just curious what is a good protein skimmer? I need a hang on skimmer because I do not have a sump. I would prefer a smaller skimmer but if I must have a bigger one that is fine. What are good skimmers?

New biocube 14 questions

I just got my new biocube 14 and I'm starting to plan everything out. 1st question I am planning to use live black sand so I was wondering if there are any flaws? 2.) how many pounds of live rock should I use? 3.) How many hermits, snails, and what shrimp should I get. 4.) Could I keep two pearly jawfish in the tank? 5.) Any other recommendations I should do? Thanks!!
