Hello guys, i am actually looking for someon that keeps mandarins, i bought one at my lfs like a month ago since my biocube was showing a lot of copepods around the glass after i got him i added a 6oz bottle of trigger pods from reef nutrition and I havent added more since then, tomorrow i will be getting 20oz of tisbe pods that i am planning to put the half only that way i can keep the rest and spot feed the mandarin to make sure that he is eating. I have tons of amphipods that come out at night, honestly I havent seen the mandarin eating at all, the copepods have disappeared so that is a good sign. How often do you thing i should dose copepods? If i get a 5 gallon water and put some rock and copepods , will they reproduce without lights ?

Good mawnin', TRT!
Coffee and hot chocolate are ready. Wholewheat French toast with Dave's VT maple syrup. Nanners and oranges on the side.
It's 12º outside. Good thing is, there is no wind. We haven't had temps like this in a few years. Brrrrr
Lets's get this day going!
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Aqua stick Epoxy Putty
Hello
Just finished cycling my 30 gallon tank. Bought some new corals like a torchammer, Kenya Tree, nuclear green candy cane, green bubble etc. They all seem to be growing and opening up fine. However I picked up some zoo polyp frags at my LFS and they recommended aqua stick epoxy putty to mount them on my live rock. I used the epoxy and did my best to mount them. Im just curious if this will kill my fish or corals or have a negative effect on them. Really dont want to lose what I have in here. Thanks.

Don't know what it is
Can anyone tell me what this is and if it is harmful in a reef tank. I have never encountered this before. It is the white thing on the rock with a tentacle attached to the back of the tank. It started growing in my tank about 3 months ago.
Hammer Coral Dying
Not sure what's wrong with my hammer coral. It has been in my tank for about 10 months and over the last month and 1/2 it has just been dying off. It used to be more than double this size then just slowly not opening up as much.
attached are some pictures.
No changes to lighting schedule, regular water changes. No changes in water or salt. No changes to tank inhabitants. All my other coral is doing well. I target feed all my corals with reef roids 2 times a week.
Tank is a 75g not drilled no sump, I run a aquaclear 70 hob, and a canister filter filled with live rock ruble rated for a 100 gallon tank, a eshopps 150 hob skimmer and (2) 540 power heads. Lighting is a Current Orbit 48-60" led light So it is the larger one leds go all the way across the 4ft tank. schedule is white sunrise for 30 min and blue sunrise for 30min 2 hrs after white comes on whites on 8hrs and blues the same. Sunsets the same.
tank levels are
salt - 1.024
ph - 7.9 or so I know its a little low but i have tried numerous ways to get it up and won't stay up
amonia - 0
nitrite - 0
nitrate - 0
phosphate - .10
calcium - 480
kh - 179
