Ok I have a 26 gallon reef tank setup for little over a month. I am running a canister filter with basic media. I have a empty 10 gallon tank I want to use as a sump but before I start spending money to get this project going Im trying to wrap my head around why a sump will be better. Its going to have the same filtration I have in my reef tank like live rock and live sand. What makes a sump better?
